Xchange: Primestream's fully web-based second-generation MAM
Primestream launches a flexible tool for managing your content, in a web environment, without dependence on clients installed on your device.
After 18 years developing content management products, Primestream has just launched a flexible tool on the market for managing your content, in a web environment, without dependence on clients installed on your device. Xchange enables integration with baseband video workflows, making it the only product on the market capable of achieving a simple interface between your current video management installations and new fully file-based workflow capabilities.
With this solution, the user decides how they want to configure their workspaces according to the function they are going to carry out, from simple searching for materials and selecting images, to archiving and cataloging tasks. Everything on one screen, from an internet browser and with the touch of a button.
The possibilities for collaborative cataloging are endless and the system comes with an industry-standard database for marking and cataloging content, standardizing marks and avoiding typing errors by users.
Additionally, the scripting and workflow creation tool engine makes it the only WEB-based MAM on the market with the capacity for complete automation of flows, including integration with third parties for content distribution, audio and video quality control, library management tools for long-term archiving or transcoding, among others.
Publishing content on social networks is a matter of one command and Xchange takes care of the registration, transcoding and sending. Additionally, it monitors and records the behavior of that content by adding information on views or visits to the metadata of the published content.
Object-oriented storage management allows you to archive complete projects with associated content of audio, video, documents, images, graphics...
Its monitoring and analysis tool maintains a detailed record of user activities and content on the MAM. User activities can be exported to a spreadsheet for further analysis.
Being an HTML5 development, the customization of the system and the creation of new capabilities or special customer requirements are made more flexible.
