AJA's long-awaited Kumo 6464 matrix is ​​now on the market

After its announcement at IBC, AJA has now started marketing its new Kumo 6464 compact 3G-SDI matrix that offers 64 3G-SDI inputs and outputs. Extremely compact (4RU), this array allows for the highest quality signal routing in very small spaces. Kumo 6464 facilitates cabling deployment and minimizes signal interference in space-sensitive environments such as broadcast, production, post-production and other AV environments.

Intended for any installation where size and routing capacity are critical, the Kumo 6464 provides powerful signal control with the ability to route video with embedded audio to SDI auto-reclocking BNC outputs.

This compact array joins AJA's popular Kumo family, which includes the Kumo 3232, Kumo 1616, and Kumo 1604. These systems can be configured for dual- and quad-port routing, allowing users to group multiple inputs and outputs for workflows. Dual Link, 4K and Ultra HD. This enables seamless routing of uncompressed or Raw 4K and UltraHD signals throughout an entire production or post-production facility.
