Vivendi's premium service for mobile devices, Studio +, begins its activity in France after its launch in Latin America.

Studio+

Following its launch in Latin America and ahead of a scheduled global launch, Vivendi's premium mobile service, Studio+, launched this weekend in France. This application will be available for 4.99 euros accessible from the Apple Store and Google play, MyCanal and from the beginning of 2017 through a partnership with Telas Orange and Bouygues Telecom. It is aimed at the generation between 18-35 years old who spend half of their video consumption time on their mobile phone.

Studio+ will offer 15 international original series at launch, divided into a new short format of ten ten-minute episodes, and a new acquisition or internally produced series each week.

In this project Vivendi has invested 30 million euros in the first year and around 1 million euros per series. Twenty-five series have been filmed so far in 18 countries, with 40 in a development phase covering all genres from action and adventure, to thriller, comedy or animation.

The mobile distribution platform, technologically developed together with Watchever, is already present in around twenty countries with French versions. To do this, Vivendi has reached an agreement with operators such as Vivo (Brazil) or Telefónica (Argentina, Peru, Chile...).

Vivendi expects to offer the service to 600 million potential subscribers worldwide through agreements with operators by the end of next year.
