AutoLink: a true plug-and-play between Panasonic PTZ cameras and Newtek TriCaster
This new software allows Panasonic IP cameras to be discovered on a network by integrating them into an NDI-based video production pipeline without requiring any additional configuration.
Kunihiko Miyagi, executive vice president for broadcast and film at Panasonic, by presenting a plug-and-play solution between PTZ cameras from Panasonic and Newtek TriCaster noted that "mutual customers have asked us for faster setup and easier integration, as studio and live production customers have become so diverse. Simple IP connectivity is the answer."
Faced with this challenge, NewTek AutoLink for Panasonic PTZ is emerging as software that allows users to connect professional Panasonic IP-ready cameras to a network and detect their presence automatically from NewTek TriCaster and the IP Series Video Mix Engine.
For his part, Andrew Cross, president and CTO of Newtek, recognizes that "NewTek and Panasonic share a vision of a production environment driven by an IP workflow. NewTek AutoLink for Panasonic PTZ is a collaboration between our two companies to make this vision a reality today."
