Aitor Gabilondo joins forces with Mediaset to create the production company Alea Media

The producer, behind series with great ratings such as 'The Prince' or 'The Commissioner', launches this production company that will focus on the development of fiction projects.

Aitor Gabilondo has signed with Mediaset España the creation of the production company Alea Media, specialized in the development of fictional audiovisual products.

Gabilondo, producer of some of the most successful television series such as The Princee, the most watched fiction on television in the last three seasons, says he feels "very lucky and grateful that Mediaset trusts me and has decided to accompany me on this journey. I believe that our union can bear great fruit. I am passionate about the projects we are already working on and I know that together we can turn them into something great."

For his part, Manuel Villanueva, general director of Content at Mediaset España, highlights that “Aitor Gabilondo's career is closely linked to that of this house through successes such as Journalists, The Commissioner and more recently The Prince, in this case as co-creator, and there is no better news than announcing this step that we are taking together at a time when national fiction, in addition to being a rising genre that is increasingly consumed and valued, is one of those with the greatest international projection.”
