KH 80 DSP: Neumann's first studio monitor with digital processing
Designed for recording, mixing and mastering studios, this new monitor calibrates manually or automatically according to the user's needs.
Starting from own development, Neumann has just launched the KH 80 DSP, its first studio monitor with digital signal processing. The great advantage of this monitor is that thanks to control software it is possible to calibrate it automatically (precision alignment), by simple questions (guided alignment), or freely with an integrated eight-band parametric equalizer (manual alignment). The DSP engine also ensures a linear frequency response with an FIR filter ensuring that all frequencies in all environments are measured accurately.
Wolfgang Fraissinet, president of Neumann, assures that "in the KH series we have been obsessed with details. The result is a frequency response with that neutrality that defines a whole new reference class and at a price that was previously unthinkable for Neumann studio monitors.
The KH 80 DSP is designed as an ideal solution for project recording, mixing and mastering, music, broadcast and post-production studios.
