A new thriller will hit Telecinco screens in the coming months thanks to Globomedia, which has begun filming The accident. With Daniel Écija in executive production, the series revolves around the complex relationships and secrets of a family revealed in the wake of a terrible plane accident.
The news across the country announces a tragic plane crash. A desperate woman begins a frantic search for her husband, whom she herself accompanied to the airport to board the fateful flight. However, the hours pass and no one knows anything; is not on the passenger list; no one has seen him.
The fiction, whose filming has already begun with Quim Gutiérrez (Cain's father) and Inma Cuesta (Red Eagle) as the main couple, will also feature the actors Alain Hernández (Palm trees in the snow), Berta Vázquez (Dream to dream), Eusebio Poncela (Charles, King Emperor), Joel Bosqued (Land of Wolves), Jorge Bosch (Great reserve), César Mateo (B&b), Mariana Cordero (Accused), Pilar Gómez (The ministry of time), Daniel Albaladejo (Isabel), Elena Seijo (Dream to dream), Joaquín Notary (Isabel) and Consuelo Trujillo (Hospital Central), among others.
The accident is structured around an intense suspense plot that will give rise to a story of complex family relationships based on love and trust but clouded by secrets, lies, hidden interests and never-imagined betrayals. Set in the apparent tranquility of a country setting, the series will have thirteen episodes with a closed ending and will feature a large number of sequences shot outdoors.
