These are the twenty main advertisers in Spain
According to the latest InfoAdex report, television in 2016 achieved 2,121.9 million euros of advertising investment, 5.5% more than in 2015, close to 41% of the total investment.
InfoAdex has just published its annual advertising investment report. In 2016, 12,067 million euros were invested in advertising, which represents a year-on-year growth of 2.8%. Conventional media reached 5,234.8 million in investment this year, 4.3% more than in 2015 according to InfoAdex.
Television continues to be the main medium chosen by advertisers. InfoAdex estimates the investment in television at 2,121.9 million euros, which would be 5.5% more than in 2015. This figure represents 41% of the total investment.
The digital medium continues to experience strong growth with an investment of 1,407.8 million euros, a 12.6% increase compared to 2015.
Regarding radio, InfoAdex confirms that investment in the medium stagnates, standing at 458 million euros.
For yet another year, print media continues in free fall. The study estimates investment in daily press at 617.4 million euros, with a year-on-year drop of 6.3%. Regarding paper magazines, 252.2 million euros were invested (-1.2% compared to 2015) while this figure would be 33.8 million (-10.4%) in Sunday supplements.
Finally, while outdoor advertising falls by 1.9% (321 million), campaigns in movie theaters are estimated slightly, standing at 22.6 million, with an increase of 2.6%.
The main advertisers
Infoadex un año más ha elaborado el ranking de los principales anunciantes en España. Procter & Gamble España (con una inversión de 70 millones) cede el primer puesto a El Corte Inglés que invierte 78,5 millones de euros, sin embargo sigue encabezando la inversión en televisión. L’Oreal España (66,5 millones) baja de la tercera posición obtenida en 2015 y se sitúa el cuarto por detrás de Volkswagen-Audi España (68,6 millones). Finalmente, Linea Directa (42,5 millones) cede el quinto puesto a Reckitt Benckiser España que invierte 55,6 millones de euros en 2016.
The sum of the advertising investment of the top twenty advertisers in 2016 represented 25.8% of the total controlled advertising investment.
Distribution, restoration, automotive and finance were the main advertising sectors last year.
