From Bombay to Lisbon, among the first international stops in Animayo in 2017

Animayo immersed again in Bollywood for the second consecutive year discovering the new talents in the world of animation, visual effects and video game.

After arriving from Barcelona, and before its next traveling appointment that will take place in Lanzarote between March 21 and 25, 2017, Animayo undertakes its international presence of the XII edition 2017 in India and Portugal.

Animayo returned to submerged in Bollywood for the second consecutive year, demonstrating that there are no borders for their objectives of carrying knowledge and discovering new talents in the world of animation, visual effects and video games anywhere in the globe. It was from February 2 to 5 in Madh Island, Mumbai, as Orbit Live Partner Festival.

Damián Perea was in charge of bringing to India the Palmares of the best of Animayo 2016, with two specials of winning short films of the different categories, wrapped in such disparate techniques such as the Stop Motion, the CGI, the traditional drawing and the 3D.

He taught two Stop Motion animation workshops for 300 students of Arena Animation, one of the most powerful animation and multimedia schools of Aptech Ltd, which has educational centers in more than 20 countries and has trained more than 400,000 students in the last 20 years. The inspirational master class of Animayo gathered more than 500 attendees who were waiting for Animayo next year.

Animayo in Lisbon

On March 17 and 18, Animayo will travel to Lisbon as a guest Festival of Monstra, Animação Festival, where its director will participate in several meetings aimed at professionals and will teach two Stop Motion workshops, one for adults and another for the little ones.

Thus, Animayo re -joins their efforts with two festivals outside our borders, intervening in professional forums and meetings that are productive for the sector, promoting the connection of new audiences and territories, establishing synergies and revaluing once again the concept of festival, away from skills and increasingly closest to its eagerness to collaborate and bring horizons closer.

With this type of actions, the Animayo brand is reinforced as a model of adhesion of new complicities with other festivals and territories, in order to strengthen the audiovisual industry itself, so that at any point on the planet, the lovers of animation, and professionals and students have an appointment in which they meet and work in close collaboration with the animation gurus of the whole world.

From March 21 to 25, Animayo will return to Lanzarote for the sixth consecutive year. The rooms of the Civic Center of San Francisco Javier de Arrecife will be an enclave of animation, video games and visual effects for the development of Animayo's sixth itinerant on the island of Volcanoes.

Master Class, projections, presentations, workshops and presentations of some of the most prominent and recognized animation specialists, visual effects and video games, active for large international companies: Borja Montoro, Hidetaka Yosumi, Rafael Zabala, Jose Antonio Rodríguez and Tereza Brdečková.

On the other hand, the XII edition of Animayo in Gran Canaria already begins to be outlined on the horizon with a very special theme, activities and guests that will soon be revealed.
