'It's for your good' closes the Miami International Film Festival

The comedy has become the best Spanish premiere of the year in box office, with a total of 4.4 million euros and more than 721,000 spectators.

It's for your good will close the Miami International Film Festival in a special screening that will take place this Saturday, March 11.

The film produced by Telecinco Cinema and Quexito Films, with the participation of Mediaset España and Movistar+, premiered on February 24, thanks to Buena Vista International, the film distributor of The Walt Disney Company.

The comedy has become the best Spanish premiere of the year in terms of grossing, with a total of 4.4 million euros and more than 721,000 spectators, thus becoming the 5th highest-grossing film of 2017.

The film, directed by Carlos Therón (Brain Drain 2) and with a script by Manuel Burque and Josep Gatell, it stars Jose Coronado, Javier Cámara, Roberto Álamo, Pilar Castro, Carmen Ruíz, María Pujalte, Silvia Alonso, Georgina Amorós, Andrea Ros, Miki Esparbé, Luis Mottola and Miguel Bernardeau.

It's for your good lleva a la pantalla la peor pesadilla para un padre: que su hija crezca y llegue el día en el que le presente a su novio… que inevitablemente será un tipo despreciable, un tipo que busca una sola cosa de su preciada y amada niñita.
