atoms has surprised those who visit NAB these days by presenting Sumo, the first production/studio monitor that combines a 19″ 1200 nit HDR panel with more than ten steps of dynamic range with 4K 12bit RAW or 10bit ProRes/DNxHD recording and HD recording up to 240p in addition to four-channel 1080p60 switching and mixing.

The equipment, compatible with HDR, allows users to instantly access recorded material on a 19″ screen, also serving as a classification and editing monitor for laptops in the field.

Sumo can capture up to 12 bit 4K 30p in CDNG or in 10 bit Apple ProRes/Avid DNxHR up to 4K 60p/2K 240p RAW through the SDI outputs of the Sony FS5/FS7/fs700, Canon C300MKII/C500 or Panasonic Varicam LT models and as always using SSD cards as support since they provide an economical solution for long recording times. recording.

Thanks to the powerful processor it incorporates, it is possible to preserve the original quality directly from the sensor with data rates of up to 3.2Gbps.
