Jeromy Young, CEO and co-founder of atoms, shows in this video interview at NAB 2024, Ninja Phone, a silent 10-bit video coprocessor for smartphones and tablets that allows recording from professional HDMI cameras.

The first version of Ninja Phone is designed to iPhone 15 Pro y iPhone 15 Pro Max and his screen OLED. Ninja Phone encodes the camera's HDMI signal in ProRes or H.265, both formats with magnificent 10-bit quality for perfect HDR.

The user can choose the way of working to record master files in ProRes and H.265 proxies for full cinematic quality, or encode 10-bit H.265 only from Ninja Phone for the easiest, fastest, production-quality workflows perfect for sending directly to social channels. The choice of 10-bit ProRes and/or H.265 is yours.

Ninja PhoneAs for using the iPhone as a monitor, the XDR OLED screens from Apple offer an impressive 1600 nits maximum brightness, ideal for HDR and daylight viewing, with a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1. By not requiring LCD feedback, the blacks of the OLED display are deeper with enormous contrast. Furthermore, their 460ppi, turn an iPhone into the highest-resolution display ever into a Ninja, allowing for crystal-clear video and crisp, precise tracking, especially when zoomed in.
