Summus Render consolidates its international presence in Annecy

The company organized an international meeting between the main animation studios where they announced upcoming technological developments.

High Render, one of the main rendering farms in the world, specializing in animated film, VFX and architectural visualization, brought together numerous studio representatives in the MIFA (The International Animation Film Market) animation festival. Render Party: Discovering new connections, a networking meeting in which the next technological solutions that the company will soon launch were previewed.

For José Luis Fernández Alegre, marketing director of Summus Render, he recognizes that "Annecy has been a boost in our consolidation as a global company. Most of the meetings we have held have been precisely with non-Spanish companies, from Europe, the US and Canada. The balance is, without a doubt, very positive since it has represented a qualitative leap to make ourselves known beyond our borders, in fact we have projects with different countries in the world."

Simple will be officially presented at the next edition of Siggraph 2017, which will be held in Los Angeles between July 30 and August 3.

On the other hand, conversations began between the Spanish professionals who attended the event under the umbrella of ICEX, Animation from Spain, to relaunch and enhance the presence of Spanish animation in international competitions.

Simple TV, Sumus Render's YouTube channel, was also present in Annecy carrying out reports and interviews about the festival that will be published soon.

Since 1960, the Annecy International Animated Film Festival has been recognized as the most important in Europe in terms of animated films.
