The Cabildo of Tenerife is studying the launch of a DTT channel

To analyze its approach and viability, the Cabildo has created a study commission.

The Cabildo of Tenerife has established a study commission to analyze the creation of a DTT channel of an island nature. The commission is made up of representatives of the different political groups of the corporation as well as technicians specialized in legal, information technology and economics.

This commission, which will be chaired by Antonio García Marichal, representative of the Canarian Coalition, and Félix Fariña, counselor responsible for Information and Communication Technologies.

Fariña highlighted that the objective of this new channel would be to offer citizens knowledge and training tools incorporating technology as conduit elements.

The commission also agreed to invite experts in different subjects related to the planned initiative so that they can make constructive contributions on the contents of the Cabildo's future television.
