The agreement includes the marketing of content on TV and VOD platforms and the management of brand licensing and advertising rights.

The Spanish company Zinkia Entertainment, producer of the series Pocoyo, wants to grow in the Japanese market and with this objective has signed a strategic alliance with Aqui Media, a Japanese media and marketing company, founded and directed by the Spanish Jesús Perezagua.

Under this agreement, since July 3, the Japanese public can enjoy the episodes of the first three seasons of the series, through the media managed by Aqui Media, television blocks and TV and SVoD apps, available for smart phones and tablets.

This agreement also includes the marketing of the contents of Pocoyo on television and VOD platforms and the exclusive management of the brand rights, among which is the exploitation of licenses in an extensive list of consumer products such as toys, textiles, publishing, child care, etc. Likewise, Aqui Media will be in charge of carrying out promotional and advertising activities, and the production of events and entertainment shows linked to Pocoyo.

The alliance is part of the strategic plan designed by Zinkia to promote the international repositioning of the brand Pocoyo. A plan that includes actions in 12 territories, among which, Japan is one of the priority objectives due to its weight in the entertainment industry.

Alberto Delgado, CEO of Zinkia, has assured that for the company "it is very important that this new stage of Pocoyo in Japan is supported by the Aqui Media team, as it has an outstanding career in the animation sector and a deep knowledge of Japanese culture."

For his part, Jesús Perezagua, founder and CEO of Aqui Media, has assured that “this collaboration with Zinkia for the introduction and development of the brand Pocoyo It is one of Aqui Media's priorities for the Japanese market.
