EVS will present the latest in live production technology at IBC through three key themes: IP4Live, a connected and creative live ecosystem, and live production and technological innovations.

EVS DYVI

At IBC 2017, IP-enabled UHD-4K flexible live production servers from EVS (XT4K and XS4K) will be showcased with expanded capabilities. The servers offer a flexible solution for any production infrastructure, whether SDI or native IP. The new updates will natively support the SMPTE 2110 IP standard.

It will also showcase the new Controller for IP, a software platform that allows users to orchestrate live streams within an IP infrastructure. Users can then manage endpoints integrated into a production to guarantee bandwidth and provide monitoring and polling of the entire workflow, as well as ensure IP interoperability for next generation installations.

Highlighting the new possibilities offered by IP, at its booth 8.B90 EVS will also show previews of live production workflows using models taken from IT data centers. Thanks to the adoption of virtualized infrastructures, tomorrow's production workflows are becoming more flexible and capable of supporting optimized business models.

Under the Creative Live concept, EVS will showcase technology and infrastructure solutions including the new C-Next and C-Agent applications designed to facilitate and ensure fully reliable collaborative live production. By deploying EVS Connected Live technology, users can break down traditional production barriers and bring together professionals across sites to create today's most effective remote live production workflows.

Visitors will also be able to see EVS's Creative Live demos with toolkits and models for better, faster live storytelling. With new tools like IPLink for Adobe and Avid, editors and post-production teams can create more engaging content faster and more efficiently through collaboration between teams. All new solutions presented at IBC 2017 natively support UHD-4K and HDR workflows.

EVS Live Production Control

Offering a new way to apply a data center approach to live production, DYVI's scalable, software-defined architecture uses Live Connected models to improve performance based on a software-defined architecture. DYVI challenges traditional market switchers with unmatched scaling, while engaging the next generation of technical directors and live video operators.

The innovative functions that artificial intelligence brings to auto-framing and social media publishing that incorporate machine learning technology will also be demonstrated. The artificially intelligent system automatically adapts the frame view within live content and can also publish near-live video content directly to an operator or broadcaster's social channels.

Finally, EVS will also present a new all-in-one production solution designed specifically for small productions with up to six cameras with which a single operator is able to simultaneously cut live feeds, coordinate replays, overlay graphics and play live content from a single fully configurable touch screen.
