The UHD Forum will offer a Masterclass at the 4K Summit in Malaga

The president of the UHD Forum, Thierry Fautier, will lead the delegation, give a conference and lead the Masterclass along with its directors.

Las Vegas, Amsterdam and now,… Malaga. The world Ultra High Definition Forum (UHD Forum) will add the 4K Summit of Malaga, which will be held from November 8 to 10, to its exclusive list of technological events in which it offers a Masterclass.

Thierry FautierThierry Fautier, president of the UHD Forum and vice president of the multinational Harmonic, will lead the UHD Forum delegation, offer a conference and then moderate a Masterclass in which several of his colleagues will participate.

Benjamin Schwarz, the head of Communications for the UHD Forum, has been appointed by Fautier to organize with Medina Media participation in the 4KSummit17, which will also include Michael Zink, the president of the UHD Alliance, the other major global organization that promotes Ultra High Definition.

The UHD Forum, established in 2015, usually only offers two Masterclasses a year: one at the NAB in Las Vegas (in April) and another at the IBC in Amsterdam (in September). But this year, its Board of Directors has approved holding a third one at the 4KSummit in Malaga.

Where is UHD right now? Where is it going? will be the topic of the UHD FORUM Masterclass in which a survey carried out among 80 of the largest television operators will be revealed in detail to explore how they see the future in 2-5 years.

The survey was conducted by the Ultra HD Forum in August and September 2017 and overseen by the UHD Forum Board of Directors.

The news about High Dynamic Range (HDR), High Frame Range (HFR) and the New Generation of Audio (NGA) will be three of the topics that the UHD Forum will also address in its Masterclass at the 4KSummit.

The 4KSummit, organized by Medina Media with Panorama Audiovisual as Main Media Partner, will take place from November 8 to 10 at the Digital Content Pole in Malaga and will bring together speakers, attendees and representatives of brands related to technology and UHD content from more than 20 countries.
