For the first time the IABM will open its Annual Conference to broadcasters and media companies
The international association of broadcat and media technology providers launches a new platform for collaboration with end users.
For the first time, IABM will open its Annual Business Conference, which will take place in London on November 30 and December 1, to broadcasters and media companies. The proposal to participate in various activities during one of the two days has already been received with enthusiasm by around twenty executives from television stations, production companies and service companies.
This initiative is part of IABM's broader strategy to provide open forums for collaboration on shared interests and opportunities between its members (broadcast and media technology providers) and its customers.
Under the motto Elevating Business – Media and Technology Working Together (Elevating Business – Media and Technology Working Together), the first day of the conference will focus on the effects that the rapid changes brought about by the adoption of IT and IP technology have on both providers and end users, analyzing, among other aspects, how projects are being executed; how people are buying and selling; how IP and IT-enabled systems are integrated and made interoperable; or how this differs from country to country. By bringing together technology providers and users in an open forum, sharing their experiences is the best way to leverage media technology with content creation, management and delivery, elevating business for everyone.
Las empresas de difusión y medios que ya confirman su asistencia son: BBC, BBC R&D, Bebop Technology, BT Media and Broadcast, CPC, Unternehmens management AG, ES Broadcast, Formula One Management, New Media, Saudi Broadcasting Corporation, Sky, SpaceTech TV, Sports Information Services, TF1, Time Mobiles, Turner Broadcasting, UKTV y VICE Media.
Peter White, CEO of IABM, highlights that "the increasing change in the broadcast and media industry means that technology providers and users simply have to work together in a new and more collaborative way to continue to thrive. The fact that so many companies have already registered for our annual conference clearly shows that we are opening a door to create such a forum. We look forward to a better informed debate and increased business as a result for all participants."
