Filmarket Hub organiza el primer Barcelona Film & TV Market dentro del Salón del Cine y las Series

These One to One meetings, which will be held from February 2 to 4, 2018, in La Farga de L'Hospitalet, aim to connect feature films and series in development.

The online platform Filmmarket Hub ha abierto la convocatoria para el primer Barcelona Film & TV Market, unos encuentros One to One para conectar largometrajes y series en desarrollo con las principales productoras y empresas del sector. Se trata del principal evento de industria que ofrecerá la próxima edición del Salón del Cine y las Series, que se celebrará del 2 al 4 de febrero de 2018, en La Farga de L’Hospitalet.

Among all the candidate projects, 6 feature films and 6 series will be selected to participate in the Market, which will take place on the morning of February 2. Each selected project will have an agenda of 6 15-minute meetings with 6 companies. The Market already has the confirmed participation of A Contracorriente Films, Diagonal TV, El Terrat, Filmax, Minoria Absoluta, Oberon Cinematografía, Rakuten TV, Televisió de Catalunya and Veranda TV.

Until January 11, interested projects can register as candidates through the Filmarket Hub online market and those selected will be announced on January 19.

Filmarket Hub is an online marketplace that connects film and television projects in development with companies in the audiovisual sector. The platform already has more than 12,000 users from all over Europe and Latin America. It also organizes pitching events under the Pitchbox brand, the last of which was held on December 19 in Madrid, where seven series in development were presented to companies such as Amazon Prime Video Spain, HBO Spain or Movistar+.
