Antonio Peñarrubia, new general director of 7 TV Region of Murcia
Lorenzo Blanco will occupy the position of deputy director of the chain. Peñarrubia has been the news director until this appointment and Blanco held the position of production director of 7 TV.
Secuoya, business group that manages 7 TV Region of Murcia, has appointed Antonio Peñarrubia from Murcia as the new general director of the public channel. Lorenzo Blanco will occupy the position of deputy director of the chain.
For his part, the until now general director of the Murcian regional channel, Alejandro Samanes, will go on to lead international projects of the Secuoya group after having managed to launch television in this new stage.
Peñarrubia has been the news director until this appointment and Blanco held the position of production director. Both are linked to the regional television of Murcia since the beginning of their broadcasts, on April 1, 2015, and symbolize the professional profile, the level of demand and the solvency of the team that has undertaken this last and satisfactory stage of the channel.
The new general director has an extensive professional career with experience in radio and television, in groups such as COPE or Vocento and came to work in the previous stage of 7RM, reaching the position of news editor, having later moved several years to Madrid where he faced projects including international ones.
La 7 TV recorded its best historical audience figure in November 2017, on an ascending scale since Secuoya took over its indirect management. Murcian television had only a few tenths of audience before Secuoya took over its management on April 1, 2015. Since then, La 7 TV has managed to quintuple its results in less than 36 months, reaching 3.2 percent share, its best figure to date, last November. 2017 has, therefore, been the year of consolidation of a chain that in the last twelve months has managed to get 1,309,000 Murcians to follow it.
Despite being the public regional television with the smallest budget, it leads the FORTA ranking of profitability and effectiveness since it reaches each audience point with the smallest budget of all public regional television, they assure from Secuoya.
