7 Region of Murcia HD, begins testing broadcasts

Coinciding with the broadcast of the UEFA Panathinaikos-Atlético de Madrid match, this afternoon its test broadcast will begin on the multiplex of channel 29, and only for the north of the Murcia region, the test broadcasts in high definition of 7 RM HD.

COTA, the telecommunications operator operating in the Region of Murcia and manager of the DTT multiplex in this region, will enable this afternoon the broadcasting centers that work in multiplex 29 (in areas in the north of the Community where the blackout has already occurred) so that 7 Region of Murcia can begin its high definition broadcasts. The first broadcast of this test broadcast will be the UEFA match between Panathinaikos and Atlético de Madrid. Thanks to a new header, it will now offer both the SD and HD signal of the Murcian regional television.

7 Region and Murcia and COTA will expand the channel's coverage in high definition once the blackout ends in April next year. With this new experience, there are now four channels that broadcast with some regularity, although all of them are in tests, in high definition: 7 Region of Murcia, Aragón TV, TV3 and RTVE.
