IBC opens the call for the presentation of technical papers
The synopses of these technical articles can be sent until February 5, 2018. In the next edition these 'papers' will not be presented in a dedicated conference as has happened until now but will be announced throughout the entire conference program.
Until next February 5, professionals who wish may send synopses of technical papers that analyze in depth the hottest topics in the broadcast industry to the selection committee IBC 2018.
The fair, which will take place from September 13 to 18, will announce the best works, granting an IBC Award to the one they consider to be of the highest level. However, on this occasion these 'papers' will not be presented in a dedicated conference as has happened until now but will be announced throughout the entire conference program.
IBC expects to receive hundreds of technical article proposals that deal with any novel aspect related to audiovisual technology and new developments such as virtual and augmented reality, mobility, blockchain, big data or autonomous production.
Nick Lodge, executive producer of Technology at IBC, commented that “we hope to receive many article proposals and that they will be new, exciting and surprising, since this time they will also influence the design of the IBC 2018 technology session program.”
