The director, director and founding academic of the Academy of Television Sciences and Arts, Ramón Pradera, dies after a long illness.
The world of television says goodbye to one of its greats. The director, director and founding academic of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Ramón Pradera has died after a long illness. Pioneer of TVE, since the seventies he directed and produced programs such as Today, 300 million, What a night that year, Dabadabada, El Kiosko, or El Precio Justo, among others.
His work was recognized with two Ondas Awards and the National Television Award. In 1990 he was part of the founding team of Antenna 3 where he launched numerous projects such as the legendary series Pharmacy on Guard. After working at Telefónica Media, as director of Integration and Synergies, in 2004 he was appointed by Manuel Soriano, director of Studies and Internal Control of Telemadrid and in 2006 director of Antena of that same regional channel.
Last year he was recognized along with the first founding members of the Television Academy with the Extraordinary Talent Award granted on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the birth of the Institution. On November 26, the Board of Directors of the Academy recognized him with the Talent Award for his professional career behind the cameras.
