WildBrain will manage BRB's extensive catalog of children's content on YouTube
More than 30 children's brands from the prestigious Spanish company join the WildBrain network. The agreement supports the international appeal of WildBrain's experience in managing multilingual children's content.
BRB International has appointed WildBrain, the prominent children's digital network and studio, as exclusive global manager for YouTube from its extensive catalog of children's content. BRB is one of the main producers, distributors and licensing agents of children's content in Spain, known worldwide for classics such as D’Artacan o Willy Fog and prominent brands such as Bernard the Teo.
The agreement, which came into force on January 1, 2018, means that BRB's catalog with more than thirty brands joins the current WildBrain network which includes 600 brands of children's entertainment. WildBrain will use its leading technology and sophisticated analytics to ensure an optimal digital strategy that maximizes the presence of BRB brands on YouTube. The agreement supports WildBrain's proven ability to attract premium partners at scale to its network of brands, as well as its expertise in managing content in multiple languages. In addition, the agreement further reinforces BRB's strategy to increase its online presence and audience on YouTube.

BRB content generated 45 million views and 115 million minutes viewing in December 2017 on YouTube. Among the more than 30 brands added to the WildBrain network under the new agreement are Bernard, a series that follows the comical adventures of a hairless polar bear who travels the world without knowing the rules, and Teo, an animated series, based on the famous preschool books Teo discovers the world. Between September and December, Bernard generated more than 143 million minutes of streaming time while Teo He had around 100,000 subscribers, which his channel currently has.
WildBrain's network of brands on YouTube is one of the largest of its kind, including more than 65,000 videos for 600 children's brands in up to 22 languages. The network generated more than 55 billion minutes of viewing time from July to December 2017. Connecting children's content owners with advertisers in the Advertising Video On Demand (AVOD) space, WildBrain's network represents popular third-party brands such as Bob the Builder, Fireman Sam, Shopkins and Lazy Town, as well as the world-renowned DHX Media library with 13,000 half-hours of children's and family content, including Snoopy, Teletubbies, Tarta de Fresa, Caillou, Inspector Gadget, Degrassi, Yo Gabba Gabba! and many others.
