BIT Audiovisual announces the second edition of R+D+BIT Audiovisual
This international platform convened by the Professional Exhibition of Audiovisual Technology will bring together the most outstanding research projects in the audiovisual sector.
With the aim of making known research and development projects, both from the university and business fields, who develop technologies, with high added value and growth potential applied to the audiovisual industry, the next edition of BIT Audiovisual, Professional Audiovisual Technology Exhibition, organized by IFEMA between May 8 and 10, calls for the 2nd edition of I+D+BIT Audiovisual.
An initiative of Free participation, open to universities and companies from Spain, Portugal and Latin American countries focused, also on recognizing the work of the professionals and entities that make up the world of audiovisual research, whose role is essential in this sector, and which will contribute to a better knowledge of the ongoing projects by their future beneficiaries, both companies and professionals from the audiovisual world, as well as society in general.
And Selection Committee, chaired by Pere Vila, Director of Technology, Innovation and Systems RTVE Corporation, will consider the research projects, according to their contribution regarding the opportunity of the research carried out; its ability to influence the future development of the audiovisual industry; its application potential; the originality of its approach, method or object, and the ability to bring together and generate collaboration between different interested actors, and will decide which projects will make up the R&D+BIT of BIT Audiovisual 2018.
The selected projects will receive a significant benefit in notoriety and dissemination supported by extensive information coverage that will place the R+D+BIT Audiovisual platform and its contents in a position of notable visibility in the media. In addition, the selected projects will have the opportunity to be part of the R+D+BIT Audiovisual exhibition that will present, in informative poster format, the characteristics of each work in the BIT Audiovisual 2018 pavilion, and to have a presentation forum to the sector, within the framework of the Technical Conference Program of the fair.
