Toboggan expands its production equipment by acquiring an Ultrix FR2 matrix from Ross Video

Data Media integrates a 72×72 Ross Ultrix FR2 matrix into the production company, Equipped with two MADI interfaces with 64 I/O channels each and six integrated multiviewers for signal monitoring.

The producer Toboggan has expanded its production equipment by acquiring a matrix Ultrix FR2 of Ross Video re-placing your trust in the integration solutions of Datos Media Technologies. The Ross Ultrix FR2 matrix has a size 72 x72. It has two MADI interfaces with 64 I/O channels each, it is also equipped with six multiviewers integrated for signal monitoring as well as frame synchronizer options for the inputs. Complemented by GPI I/O and 7 XY control panels. A very versatile solution which, despite its small size of 2U, gives production a wide range of tools.

Another point to highlight that this product has is the possibility of being able to make extensions to adapt it to the future of UHD signals, simply adding the Ultrispeed software option which will allow the switching of these signals.

With Ultrispeed you would increase the data transfer speed from 3 Gb/s to 12Gb/s, giving the device the possibility of UHD 60hz p signal routingusing 4K signals.
