Sennheiser has presented its new Evolution Wireless G4 series in Las Vegas, while Neumann has premiered the reissue of its famous U 67 tube microphone.

Sennheiser y Neumann have just presented their new audio solutions in NAB tailored for mobile journalism, film productions, studio work and monitoring, in addition to presenting the Ambeo range of products for virtual reality and augmented reality productions.

Sennheiser has launched its new series of headphones in Las Vegas, the line 300 PRO. Available this summer, the new series will consist of two monitoring headphones and three headphone/microphone combinations for on-camera work and backstage communications. For wireless bodypacks, Sennheiser has introduced new headsets and lavalier microphones.

Also available for summer 2018, they have been designed and tuned to be reliable, great-sounding workhorses for mid-sized broadcasters, theaters and houses of worship. In addition, Sennheiser has included in its portfolio an amazing new wireless solution for recording high-quality audio on mobile devices.

Sennheiser's range of on-camera microphone systems has been further expanded with the introduction of the new series Evolution Wireless G4. The new generation now offers two sub-lines, complementing the acclaimed 100-p series with the new 500-p series. The other wireless systems on display are the flagship Digital 9000 and Digital 6000 series, including the EK 6042 digital/analog camera receiver, as well as AVX, which operates in the 1.9 GHz license-free band.

As for shotgun microphones, the MKE 400, MKE 600 and the MKE 440 stereo. Also on display were the professional barrel models MKH 416 and MKH 8060, the long barrel MKH 8070, as well as the MD 46 and MD 42 reporter microphones.

On the other hand, the studio audio specialist Neumann has presented the reissue of his famous U 67 tube microphone, along with the U 87 Ai, the TLM 102, the TLM 103 and the BCM 104, a classic for radio stations. All microphones could be tested at the stand. Also available for demonstrations were Neumann's KH 80 and KH 120 monitors and the KH 810 studio subwoofer.

The Ambeo area within the booth provided a special focus on binaural recordings and productions. Visitors were able to interact with the Ambeo, Ambeo VR Mic and Neumann KU 100 smart headsets and learn more through a range of engaging demo videos. Sennheiser also presented “Ambeo for VR” hardware and software.
