Hispasat Shareholders

The Spanish satellite operator Hispasat after the purchase and sale of shares of the company corresponding to the acquisition by Abertis and the CDTI, proportionally to their participations, of 33.69% of the capital, which was in the hands of Eutelsat, has renewed its board of directors.

The representatives of Eutelsat (Rodolphe Belmer, Michel Azibert, Ariane Rossi, Almudena Arpón de Mendívil and Edouard Silverio) have left the council, giving way to those appointed in representation of Abertis: Aristóteles Auñón, Martí Carbonell, José Luis Viejo, Laura Grau and Sebastián Morales.

A new director has also been incorporated to represent Abertis, Marta Casas, in replacement of Francisco Reynés, who presented his resignation on February 6 after leaving his position at the head of Abertis.

After the shareholding changes, Hispasat's capital will be 89.68% in the hands of Abertis, while the State Society of Industrial Participations (SEPI) will have 7.41%, and the Center for Industrial Technological Development (CDTI), the remaining 2.91%.
