'My beloved brotherhood', award for best comedy at the BCN FILM FEST in Barcelona
The award for best film went to 'Mary Shelley', by Haifaa Al-Mansour; the ACCEC Critics' Award for 'Change of Queens', by Marc Dugain; and a special mention for 'In Times of Fading Light', by Matti Geschonneck.
My dear brotherhood, Marta Díaz's debut film, has won the award for best comedy at the Barcelona-Sant Jordi International Film Festival (BCN FILM FEST). Set during Holy Week in Malaga, it stars Gloria Muñoz, Pepa Aniorte, Juan Gea, Joaquín Nuñez and Manuel Morón.
Participated by RTVE, My dear brotherhood It premiered at this festival on April 26, with the attendance of its director and its protagonist, Gloria Muñoz. Another film participated by RTVE was also premiered in the contest, The distances, by Elena Trapé and the new series of La 1 The other look, with Macarena García, Patricia López Arnaiz, Ana Wagener and Cecilia Freire.
In the list of winners, the award for best film has gone to Mary Shelley, by Haifaa Al-Mansour; the ACCEC Critics Award for Change of queens, by Marc Dugain; and a special mention for In times of fading light, by Matti Geschonneck; The Castell de Peralada Festival awards have also been given for the best music for Change of queens, and a special mention for Maria by Calas, by Tom Volf. And the Educacine award has gone to Rebel in the Rye, de Danny Strong.
The Barcelona-Sant Jordi International Film Festival held its second edition last week at the Cines Verdi in the Gracia neighborhood of Barcelona, with the presence of prominent figures from national and international cinema. Rosa Regàs, Albert Espinosa and Jacinto Antón made up the official jury in charge of awarding the Jury Prize for the Best Film in the Official Section, for which eleven titles competed.
