Maribel Román, General Manager South Europe and Ángel González, sales director for Mexico, Central America and Caribbean in Riedel Communications They review this video in the latest news presented in NAB 2018 as the new version of sistema de intercom bolerOr, now in configuration standalone, the new smartpanel RSP-1232HL, y MicroN IP, now as a bridge between the world of the base band and the new IP environments.

With the “Standalone” version of Bolero, Riedel goes one step further in its new Intercom Digital proposal allowing the antennas to connect in chain to each other on a line or in a redundant ring through a synchronized TDM network of low latency. The solution is really plug-and-play type, without an IP configuration being necessary.

An external medium width interface box of a single RU, with six four -wire analog circuits and three gpio, can be connected directly to any antenna and then patch into an existing intercom system. The system is easily configured through an internal website of the antennas.

Other new capabilities provided by the update of the Intercom Bolero system, which now turns one year, include individual rotary programming, headphones support by Bluetooth and a new Quickmute feature incorporated into the belt that allows users to easily set the volume of all channels at zero.

RIEDEL RSP 1232HLPanel RSP-1232HL

As for the new new RSP-1232HL panel, it is a qualitative leap in flexibility, power and connectivity of workflow. This new panel presents multiple multitouch screens in full color, 32 Innovative hybrid lever keys, the ability to take advantage of applications for its functionality and the ability to easily adapt to the various workflows used today.

The two-year research and development effort that is behind the RSP-1232HL panel has had contributions from many users and professionals in the sector. All aspects of existing panel technology have been evaluated, from the component spacing, to their appearance and touch.

The result is a 32 -key user interface in which each lever key has an integrated rotary encoder that provides parameter control in the same place as the key. The levers have been carefully designed to have the shape, weight, comfort, response and the perfect antifatigue qualities to effectively redefine the way in which a panel of an intercom.

Inventing a panel from scratch also allows you to have new features that greatly help make the panel easier to understand for users. The new concept of Riedel logical groups allows users to choose custom colors for the labels of the keys or LED rings located around each key. The label of each key has a main label of eight characters, a subtique of 16 characters and labels with icons defined by the user. Along with this, there is a signaling mechanism through icons to indicate the user in which state each key is at any time. Open Mic, Mutad Key, Incoming Beep, or Port Busy are easy to read and understandable at a glance. Users can obtain how much information is necessary on any specific key.

MediorNet MicroN

Finally, Riedel has expanded again the abilities of Mediornet Micron through the introduction of his Bripge proposal, a new interface that creates a seamless bridge between Mediornet and IP.

The micron IP application supports video and audio SMPTE ST 2110 / AES67, as well as Base Band Audio (SDI) and Audio (MADI). In combination with all integrated GLUE functions, including embedded and mounted from audio, sampling frequency conversion, audio and video delay, signal routing and display on screen, the micron IP application becomes a tool for all IP interface needs.

At the same time, the device can be completely connected to the network with all existing mediornet products. The IP micron applications range from an SDI converter to autonomous IP to a totally network system with numerous IP inputs and different base band inputs and outputs.
