wTVision deployed its latest technology to report, in real time, the results of the Eurovision 2018 voting. More than 200 million viewers spread across the 43 countries where this Song Festival, the longest and most popular in Europe, is broadcast, enjoyed the graphics offered by this Mediapro group company.

wTVision's participation as official provider of this television event, one of the largest in the world, extended from the semifinals, on May 8 and 10, and the final, which took place on Saturday, May 12.

The data was imported in real time, so that the audience was instantly informed of the evolution of the votes. Commentators from the 43 participating countries also had constant access to information about the votes, thanks to a system created specifically for that purpose.

On the other hand, wTVision was also in charge of the main voting system, a web configuration that provided the program's hosts with information as valuable as changes in the classification of the countries or those who were voting at each moment.

State-of-the-art technology was used to handle the data and graphics operations: the graphical information of the jury and viewer votes was generated through a PCR solution that combines wTVision's Studio CG and the R3 Space Engine (wTVision's real-time 3D graphics engine). Two specialized operators (supported by two support operators) managed the counting table through four computers (two main computers and two backup computers). The main voting system operated via web technology, in a project developed specifically for the Eurovision Song Contest, to maximize its flexibility.
