Evolution of the Super 35mm vs Full Frame film format
On June 28, APPA and WeLab organize a conference in which the advantages and disadvantages of using the Super 35mm sensor vs the “full format” sensor will be analyzed.
The Association of Audiovisual Production Professionals (APPA) and the rental company WeLab They will organize next Thursday July 28 (11 a.m.) the day Evolution of the Super 35mm vs Full Frame film format which will take place at the School of Cinematography and Audiovisual of the Community of Madrid (ECAM).
This free training day aims to publicize the cameras and lenses that make the most of the full frame or full frame sensor whose size is equivalent to the 35 mm format. used in classic cameras, i.e. 36x24 mm.
During the day, the origins of the complete format, advantages, disadvantages and its technical applications will be addressed. The CEO of Welab, Pedro Fernández, will be in charge of showing it. In addition, attendees will be able to test the advantages of this type of sensor that incorporates cameras such as the RED 8K Monster, Alexa LF de ARRI y Venice by Sony.
The day will end with a round of questions about doubts and a final cocktail in which to exchange impressions.
The event is open to APPA members and all those professionals in the audiovisual sector interested in learning more about Full Frame.
