Last year, registration was closed weeks before the event as all available places had been filled for this exclusive meeting in which the “top engineers” and “top content producers” of 4K meet for three days in the capital of the Costa del Sol to share their progress and news in a relaxed atmosphere, where networking and access to speakers are hallmarks.
The 4K Summit held its first edition in 2015 and since then it has established itself as the most relevant annual event for technology and content production multinationals that lead the global development of Ultra High Definition (UHD).

“In the coming weeks we will gradually reveal the agenda, in which sports will have an important presence in a year in which there has been the Football World Cup in Russia, and the Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang (South Korea), and with an eye on Tokyo 2020,” announced Ricardo Medina, CEO of Medina Media.
Representatives from more than 20 countriess will share at the 4K Summit the latest technological and content production advances in 4K, HDR (High Dynamic Range), HFR (High Image Frequency)…
OTT platforms and their 4K production requirements will also be another pillar of the agenda, which will include 22 conferences and 10 debate panels, which will be added to the workshops and demos that the brands organize in the different spaces of the 6,000 square meters of the Digital Content Hub of Malaga.
“In addition to the agenda, which this year will be more American than ever, the 4K Summit will grow around it with several new features that will provide more volume of content, networking and projections in the city center to turn Malaga, throughout the week, into the world capital of 4K,” advances Medina.
