Broadcast Solutions looks to the future with the development of innovative products and integrations

As is tradition at IBC, Broadcast Solutions occupies the largest outdoor stand (O.E02), converted into a meeting point for all visitors interested in future technologies and solutions.

In IBC 2018, Broadcast Solutions (stand O.E02 and 8.D74), one of the largest system integrators in Europe, is unveiling its entire systems integration portfolio and new product developments, highlighting the company's vision for the future of the media and television industry.

As is tradition, the company occupies the largest outdoor stand (O.E02) at the fair, which has become a meeting point for all visitors interested in future technologies and solutions.

An example of the company's experience and skills can be found in the one 16-camera HDR/UHD mobile unit built for the Polish company Ekstraklasa Live Park which is being exhibited these days in Amsterdam. Together with Broadcast Solutions engineers, visitors also have the opportunity to discuss the latest trends and technologies in the broadcast industry. Using examples of projects, completed or under construction, the team showcases real, innovative solutions that Broadcast Solutions clients benefit from, allowing them to stay ahead of the competition.

Robycam

The new subsidiary, Robycam Germany, launches a new cable camera system Robycam Compact. The system flies over visitors and shows the integration of augmented reality, as well as the support of high-speed cameras.

The Robycam Compact is designed for small and medium-sized television studios and sports centers, for example basketball or ice hockey halls. The system's winches can be easily placed in locations with limited space, providing sufficient pulling force to maximize the working height of the camera. The compact and lightweight mobile platform with stabilized rotating camera head allows you to control the camera orientation and lens parameters. Robycam Compact is available for both fixed installations and in a mobile variant for multi-event applications.

Intuitive control with Hi

At the indoor stand (stand 8.D74) Broadcast Solutions presents its response to the current and future challenges of media infrastructure management. Based on more than 20 years of experience in system design, he has developed a new product called Hi, a Intuitive and easy-to-use control layer for multimedia devices.

Using the latest auto-discovery and zero-configuration technologies, Hi dramatically reduces setup time for broadcast and media systems through an easy-to-use interface that provides easy control and monitoring of complex infrastructures.

This new proposal makes the configuration process in media and broadcast environments smart and easy, detects new devices automatically and protects the user from false configurations.
