Ross Video and Merging Technologies will collaborate to enable fast and easy innovation in AES67 and ST 2110 audio networks.

Ross Video y Merging Technologies have signed a collaboration agreement to integrate Ross Video products, including the recently released Bach Liberty, in the solution Aneman Audio Network Manager the Merging, thus creating a complete solution that will allow manufacturers who have already adopted the Dante Brooklyn II module to connect to new markets quickly and easily.

Initially, the agreement will see Aneman Audio Network Manager software complement Ross Video's recently introduced Bach Liberty module by offering the market an AES67/Ravenna audio networking solution that is compatible with the popular Dante Brooklyn II module.

This “full stack” solution, with easy management and monitoring of the audio network, allows manufacturers that have already adopted the Dante module to quickly address new markets that require full compliance with AES67 and ST 2110 standards, using a combination of the Bach Liberty module and Aneman software.

Both companies have agreed create an open control and monitoring network based on the Aneman engine and hosted on GitHub, to enable an ecosystem of independent contributors to develop innovative workflows.

Néstor Amaya, vice president of infrastructure at Ross Video, is excited about the possibilities the deal offers. “I think many markets have been thirsty for this integration of open technologies, and I hope that we can build on this project to finally create a platform that is for the world of live media networks what Linux has been for the world of computing,” he assured.
