IBC opens registration for its prestigious annual awards
IBC will include two new categories this year that reflect the way the industry is developing globally: the Young Pioneer Award and the Social Impact Award.

From the most exciting technical achievements in media, entertainment and technology to outstanding individual achievements and projects that have had a positive social impact, the IBC Awards are a benchmark in the industry.

On the other hand, the Premio al Impacto Social will recognize an initiative or campaign from a company that is having a positive impact on the rest of the world, addressing an issue that is important in the context of the industry, such as sustainability, diversity or health. These two new prize categories are free.

We are excited to introduce these new awards to recognize how talented people in our sector, whether individually or collaboratively, can achieve great things."
As disruption to the media, entertainment and technology industry continues and convergence with other verticals accelerates, the jury will highlight examples of productive collaboration that lead to innovative solutions to the challenges and opportunities created. The size and scale of a project is not important as long as the proposal demonstrates groundbreaking innovation and solves a real-world problem in a creative way. The three categories of the Innovation Award are Content Creation, Content Distribution and Content Everywhere.
The deadline for submitting proposals is Tuesday. April 23, 2019.
