Phabrix Qx IP V3.0 Rasterizer Successfully Passes JT-NM SMPTE ST 2110 Test
Phabrix's QX IP won the Product of the Year Award at NAB 2019 in the Best New Hardware Infrastructure Technology category.
He test and measurement rasterizer, Qx IP of Phabrix, with the latest V3.0 software, has been successfully tested in JT-NM Tested tests underscoring the company's commitment to demonstrating compliance with SMPTE standards.
The program JT-NM Tested Program, a program designed by the Joint Task Force on Networked Media (JT-NM), offers potential buyers of IP-based equipment a broader, better-documented view of how vendors' equipment aligns with standards SMPTE ST 2110 y SMPTE ST 2059. The results, published in the JT-NM NAB 2019 Tested Catalogue, show that Phabrix's Qx IP V3.0 is the only test and measurement product to support four streams simultaneously: 1 x Video, 2 x Audio, 1 x ANC streams, and to support -20, -30, -40 with 2022-7 on all four streams.
Qx, with its latest software version V3.0, is the world's first fully flexible rasterizer for hybrid IP/SDI analysis and video/audio monitoring, for environments requiring 4K/UHD (12G/6G/3G-SDI), HD-SDI and SMPTE formats ST 2110, ST 2022-7, ST 2059 (PTP) and ST 2022-6. Its feature set provides ST 2059 (PTP), decapsulation of 1 video, 2 audio and 1 ANC data stream with support for ST 2110-20 (Uncompressed Video), -30 (PCM Digital Audio), -31 (AES3 Transparent Transport) and -40 (ANC Data). The ST 2022-7 offers seamless protection for all four streams across two media network interfaces. The Qx also provides ST 2110-40 (ANC Status, ANC Inspector, Display of Closed Caption Text) and ST 2110-31 Channel Status Analysis.
The reception of audio Conforms to 2110-30 Class C with support for 48Khz streams from 1 to 8 channels at 1ms packet times and 1 to 64 channels at 125us packet times. Fast PTP lock time is provided, with 1PPS GPI output and real-time indication of estimated PTP phase deviation. The IP toolkit 2110 also provides an indication of the timing relationship of each of the eight 2022-7 flows to the PTP with status information, as well as a status tool 2022-7 that reports on the health and relative timing slope of each 2022-7 pair.
Las advanced measurement tools Qx ST 2110 include the provision of up to four simultaneous Packet Interval Time measurements and displays, detailed reports of stream packet data, clock rates and PTP time ratio, as well as IP reception statistics including ST 2110-21 Network Compatibility Model (Cinst) and Virtual Receiver Buffer Model (VRX) measurements.
On the other hand, the Qx IP V3.0, which presents the latest in hybrid IP/SDI test and measurement tools, won the Product of the Year Award at NAB 2019 in the category of Best New Hardware Infrastructure Technology.
