Spanish Television used Fujifilm optics in the augmented reality production of the Elections Special
Fujifilm's HA18x7.6 motorized optics, in perfect collaboration with the Mo-Sys tracking system and Vizrt renderers, facilitated fast, smooth and precise imaging in an augmented reality environment.
For the production of the special program on the night of general elections of last April 28, Spanish Television used five motorized optics HA18x7.6 de Fujifilm.
These optics, in perfect collaboration with the tracking system Mon-Sys and the renders of Vizrt, facilitated the fast, smooth and precise image transmitted from Studio 1 of Prado del Rey for La 1 and Canal 24 Horas.
The special was followed by a total of 2,513,000 viewers and a share of 13.6%, the best audience after an election since 2011.
With a long focal length, 137mm (274mm with 2x zoom) and a wide angle of view (64°30′) at 7.6mm, the HA18x7.6 is the perfect HD standard lens for high-definition ENG news production with versatile performance and compact dimensions.
The HA18x7.6 lens is equipped with internal focus and designed with the exclusive Fujinon GO technology which optimizes the optical characteristics of the lens by 20-30%. To achieve this goal, the latest glass materials with high refractive indices and ultra-low dispersion are used.
Finally, note that these lenses minimize ghosting and flare, as well as longitudinal and lateral chromatic aberrations, which made them the ideal option given the scenography and lighting characteristics deployed in Studio 1.
