'Alleged Guilty' wins the Best Foreign Series Award at the Shanghai International Festival

The Antena 3 series, produced by Atresmedia Televisión in collaboration with Boomerang TV, wins the award that fiction films such as 'Game of Thrones' or 'Breaking bad' won years ago.

Alleged guilty, original series of Atresmedia Television, has won this Friday with the prestigious Magnolia Award for Best Foreign Series in the 25th edition of Shanghai International Festival.

The Antena 3 series competed along with four other productions from Europe and Asia in awards in which, in other editions, fiction such as Jgame of Thrones, Babylon Berlin, Breaking bad, Homeland o Downton Abbey.

The award has been collected by Miguel Angel Muñoz, protagonist of the series, and by Javier Holgado, one of its creators. Both have traveled to Shanghai where they have attended all the events planned for this edition of the Festival, as well as the awards ceremony.

Sonia Martinez, director of Fiction at Atresmedia and editorial director of Atresmedia Studios, has expressed her joy at winning this prestigious award: “We are happy for this new international recognition for our fiction brand.
