Mediapro and Non Stop prepare a biopic about Lola Flores

The series, which will consist of two seasons and in which the Flores Family participates, narrates the life of Lola Flores from its beginnings, when her parents struggled to raise the family in Jerez, until the end of her days.

His extraordinary and unique artistic talent, as well as his enormous popularity, turn his life into one of the most exciting stories ever told in a television series to date. Lola was a free and indomitable spirit who, thanks to her immense talent and overwhelming personality, went from performing at baptisms in Jerez to becoming an icon in Spain and South America.

The artist is, without a doubt, the most loved, admired and, at times, even controversial Spanish artist in our country during the 20th century. The series will tell its story from its origins and will develop parallel to the main historical events that marked our country in those years.

For the first time, the Flores family, represented in this case by Lolita and Rosario Flores, has decided to tell the story of the unrepeatable Lola Flores in a series in which they will act, together with Mariola Orellana, as executive producers. The creatives and producers of The Mediapro Studio and Non Stop will participate as audiovisual partners in the project.

“La Faraona” and Antonio González “El Pescaílla” created one of the most important artistic clans in the recent history of Spain: Los Flores. The series will tell the story of the artist and her family and will reveal hitherto unpublished aspects of the artist's life, which Lola's own admirers were unaware of until now.

Lola's life is a story full of lights, but also shadows. Shadows that until now had remained forgotten but that will be made known for the first time thanks to this project. No one becomes as big as Lola Flores without paying a high price.
