Christie has closed a resale agreement for the entire world (except Japan) with Arts Alliance Media (AAM), a global leader in digital cinema software and services. The agreement includes Christie's commitment to offer AAM's extensive range of integrated theater management software and services to its broad base of exhibitors, reinforcing Christie's position as a leading provider of cinema know-how and solutions.

“We are excited about the opportunity to incorporate AAM's floor management software solutions into our offering to exhibitors,” explains Dale Miller, Christie's executive vice president for film. "Their software solutions are the most common and best-integrated room management systems in the world, and are the perfect complement to our powerful, ultra-high-performance projectors and immersive audio solutions for cinema applications. Now, we will be able to offer our exhibitors a total solution with benefits on all fronts," he adds.

Based in London and founded in 2003, AAM offers exhibitors an extensive range of solutions for reduce costs, increase efficiency and improve experience cinematographic of cinema audiences. Its software solutions, such as Theatre Management System [Theatre Management System] Screenwriter, have been designed to maintain the smooth operation of everything that happens behind the screen in movie theaters. By automating hardware operations, scheduling, playlists and screenings, the software maximizes exhibitor efficiency and viewer satisfaction. AAM software is now present on more than 40,000 digital screens around the world.

In addition to jointly announcing its agreement with AAM, at CineEurope 2019, which took place in Barcelona from June 17 to 20, Christie has shown the latest addition to the CineLife Series: the Christie CP2309-RGB projector with RealLaser lighting technology. The company has also released the Christie Vive Audio LA3i speaker and previewed the CP4450-RGB to demonstrate its technological capabilities within the PLF (premium large format) cinema.
