Odeon Multicines installs the first RGB laser projector in Andalusia by Christie Reallaser

Odeon Multicines has just reopened the Multiplex Plaza de Armas in Seville incorporating in its room 1 a pure RGB laser technology film projector, the first one in its type that is installed in Andalusia.

The Plaza de Armas cinemas, located in the mall of the old Sevillian railway station, had closed their doors months after having withdrawn their previous manager in the resumption of the contract once the validity of their services has been completed.

Odeon Multicines has now reopened it and requipped entirely. "We have changed all the screens, speakers, amplifiers and processors. We have implanted new image and sound, of the latest technology," he explains Luis Millán, owner of Odeon Multicines.

Room 1 of the complex has been equipped with a Christie CP2320-RGB with Electronics Cinelife and Reallaser lighting, which constitutes the first RGB laser technology film projector that is installed in Andalusia. "This team offers spectators unpublished levels of brightness, color and contrast, and provides enormous reliability to a reduced property cost," says Millán.

But in addition, the Plaza de Armas cinemas have been equipped with 86 units of the Christie Vive Audio range, including Surround La3s, La4s and La3C speakers and Class D CDA3 and CDA5 amplifiers. Also, in the main room of the complex Dolby Atmos has been installed.

Multiplex audio speakers also integrate dimerizable LED lighting to highlight their design; This gives an avant -garde and unique touch to the rooms by changing the color and intensity of the speakers' lights while advertisements and trailers are projected.

"The truth is that the Christie Vive Audio system is becoming a standard in our cinemas," Millán continues. "Its speakers provide an absolute sound fidelity, and allow you to listen to the slightest details. In addition, they offer absolutely uniform coverage throughout the room, allowing each seat to have the best sound."

Millán knows what he's talking about. And is that another of its complexes, Odeon sambiL, located in Madrid and has 12 rooms, has the unsurpassed figure of 514 speakers and 217 Christie Vive Audio amplifiers, being one of the most technologically advanced complexes in Europe.

Odeon Multicines manages a circuit of 118 rooms in 12 complexes distributed by a dozen Spanish provinces, and is still expanding. In 2018, more than 2.6 million viewers passed through their seats. With these figures, Odeón has entered the "top ten" of the exhibitors in Spain, where it occupies the seventh position.
