“With this new cinema we wanted to replicate the image and sound quality that film directors and producers want to convey in their films,” he explains. Gonzalo Lopez, general manager of Multiplexes.
And he adds that "the fact of having the first 4K RGB laser room in Ecuador makes us feel like leaders in technological innovation; that is the vision of Multicines."
As for the reason for choosing the CP4330-RGB, López is clear: “we sought to offer our customers the best quality in luminosity, color and contrast, and this is the best projector on the market.”
The general manager of Multicines also highlights “the low operating cost of the equipment with reduced energy consumption and almost maintenance-free operation, which protects the interests of our company.”
Diego Lopez, general manager NOLA and Andean Region of Christie, acknowledges that "we are extremely pleased that Multicines has opted for Christie to create the only 4K RGB laser theater in Ecuador. And we are delighted to see how more and more exhibition companies in Latin America choose Christie RealLaser technology, available for all types of cinemas, from the smallest to large format screens, for their new cinemas."
Multicines began its operations in Ecuador in 1996 as a pioneer in the country in the commercial exploitation of cinema through modern technology multiplex complexes. It currently has 54 screens in different parts of the country, many of which are equipped with Christie film projectors.
The CP4330-RGB pure laser cinema projector brings a premium cinema experience to large theaters. Equipped with CineLife electronics and RealLaser lighting, this compact all-in-one projector meets DCI standards and offers customers the benefit of over 50,000 hours of performance in a typical room under optimal conditions, providing customers with uncompromised performance and nearly maintenance-free operation.
