Tedial will demonstrate at IBC Smartlive Multi Sport and new functionalities in Version Factory
At IBC 2019, Tedial will present important new features for its popular sports and live event solution, SmartLive. It will also hold demos of the 2019 Tedial Version Factory.
The popular solution for sporting and live events SmartLive Tedial will have configurations Multi Sport, which allow users to gEnerate automatic highlights in any sport quickly and easily.
Visitors to IBC 2019 (Stamd 8.B44) will see a dramatic increase in the number of highlights that SmartLive can automatically generate due to the significant expansion of sports genres. This is a key addition to the list of the solution's rapidly growing capabilities. Completely agnostic to all data sources, Tedial's metadata engine makes it easy to add new configurations to the system when necessary.
Besides, SmartLive y Evolution MAM Tedial now include a new module that allows publish all types of content on any social network with just one click. Enabled by the system's ability to create social publishing campaigns directly within the MAM, content includes clips, recaps or historical media…
Tedial will also highlight its technological partnership with Speechmatics. By integrating Speechmatics' automatic speech recognition (ASR) technology with SmartLive, operators will be able to search for comments made during a sports game or live event, automatically create file locators and import a file or drop it into a watch folder and manually generate speech to text from the commentary track.
Providing operators with faster access to content, Tedial will showcase its new SmartLive solution, which can be easily deployed on top of the customer's existing production environment. This is key as it provides sports broadcasters with a highly effective solution that can be up and running very quickly. In addition to these new functionalities, Tedial will highlight the economic and operational benefits of operate SmartLive both on-premises and in the cloud.

Tedial Version Factory 2019
Tedial will also showcase for the first time in Europe the Tedial Version Factory 2019 updates. With a unique, efficient and cost-effective workflow, it supports millions of file entries, transforming them into delivery configurations, ready to be distributed to multiple platforms from a single operator screen.
Updates include management of “on-the-fly” assembly of unique versions, including pre-, post-, and mid-insertions; compliance with contractual distribution requirements for timely deliveries; and the ability to perform low-resolution proxy edits to IMF-compliant media and templates, so episode seasons can be managed with a single configuration.
Using the company's version factory and HYPER IMF, your comprehensive IMF workflow that now supports standards SMPTE IMF 2018, Tedial can easily support existing and new platforms, delivering content in the correct format with audio tracks and subtitles in the correct language, as well as any additional components required (artwork/trailers,…).
As part of Tedial's Evolution MAM demonstration, the company will also demonstrate new features of its content management Evolution aSTORM, which transparently manages multiple levels across departments and locations or in the cloud, for the first time in Europe. aSTORM now includes numerous features of cost savings, including optimizing transfers between sites to reduce transfer costs; and improved tape migration workflows between technologies to increase resource efficiency, resulting in reduced migration costs. aSTORM also supports Oracle cloud storage.
