Nagra enables OTT in the cloud for Montecable in Uruguay

The main operator in Uruguay implements the cloud-based Conax GO Live solution to enable advanced features including support for Android TV and VOD.

Montecable, the main cable operator in Uruguay, has implemented the cloud-based solution of Conax GO Live, the turnkey OTT solution Nagra, to enable new features in its pay TV service, including support for Android TV and Video on Demand (VOD).

The implementation was carried out with the collaboration of Bold MSS, a regional leader in the provision of advanced solutions for content distribution based in Uruguay and NAGRA sales channel partner in Latin America.

This project marks the first cloud implementation of the Conax GO Live solution with VOD functionality in the Americas.
