Atresmedia opens market in the Middle East with an agreement with MBC Group

The Antena 3 series 'Presumed Guilty' will be seen in the Middle East and North Africa through MBC, the largest operator in the region, following the agreement closed with Atresmedia International Sales in this edition of MIPCOM.

The catalog of Atresmedia Series continues its expansion outside our borders since Presumed Guilty, an original series from Atresmedia TV, will be seen in the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) territory thanks to the agreement reached in the MIPCOM (which is being held in Cannes) between Atresmedia International Sales y MBC, the main private operator in this region.

In this way, Presumed Guilty continues its successful international journey, after triumphing in Asia, a territory in which it managed to win last June the prestigious award for Best Foreign Series at the 25th edition of the Shanghai International Festival. A category in which, in other editions, fictions such as Game of Thrones, Babylon Berlin, Breaking bad, Homeland o Downton Abbey.

With this agreement for the arrival of Presumed Guilty to MENA territory, the productions of the Series Atresmedia label are consolidated as the Spanish fictions with the greatest penetration in the Arab world, with hits in this region such as The Money Heist, Dream to dream o Pulsations.

Presumed Guilty, starring Miguel Ángel Muñoz, Susi Díaz, Elvira Mínguez and Alejandra Onieva, premiered last September and, after the broadcast of its 13 episodes, it averaged 1.9 million viewers with 13.2%, which made it the most watched series of its day and one of the most watched of this season. The series also worked perfectly on tape, averaging almost 350,000 views per episode.

The series is produced by Atresmedia Televisión, in collaboration with Boomerang TV (Plastic Sea, The Time Between Coutures).
