These are the fifteen Ibero-American films that will compete for the 34th edition of the Goya Awards

These fifteen films will be screened at the Academy from November 4 to 20, within the framework of the Foundation's Activities.

A total of fifteen Ibero-American stories have been presented by the academies and selection committees of their respective countries to compete to be nominated for the Goya for Best Ibero-American Film in the 34th edition of these awards organized by the Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences of Spain.

Argentina has chosen The odyssey of the Giles, by Sebastián Borensztein; and Bolivia brings I miss you, directed by Rodrigo Bellott. Brazilian made Bacurau, by Juliano Dornelles and Kleber Mendoça Filho, while the Chilean bet is Spider, signed by Andrés Wood. Alejandro Landes's Colombian title, Monos, is also aspiring to the Goya; the costa rican The awakening of the ants, by Antonella Sudasassi; the ecuadorian The bad night, by Gabriela Calvache; and the Mexican The chambermaid, by Lila Avilés.

The Dominican Republic has selected Miriam lies, by Natalia Cabral and Oriol Estrada; Uruguay The sharks, by Lucía Garibaldi; Venezuela The night of the two moons, by Miguel Ferrari; and Panama Just Cause Operation, by Luis Franco and Luis Pacheco.

The options for the Ibero-American Goya are completed with the representative of Portugal The estate, by Tiago Guedes; the cuban Innocence, by Alejandro Gil Álvarez; and the representative of Peru Altarpiece, by Álvaro Delgado Aparicio.

These 15 films will be screened at the Academy from November 4 to 20, within the framework of the Foundation's Activities, in sessions open to academics, students and the general public.
