AWS Elemental Medialive offers statistical multiplexation for a better quality transmission, performance and bandwidth quality

Using Elemental Medialive AWS with statistical multiplexation, it is now possible to implement linear video and reproduction in the AWS cloud for diffusion, cable or land distribution.

The statistical multiplexation (STATMux) is now available with AWS Elemental MediaLive. Statmux is a technology used in live broadcast workflows assigning bits in real time between multiple live video channels. This technology instantly adjust the bit rate to make the most of the total bandwidth available and combines the outputs coded in a single transport flow. This maximizes network efficiency by optimizing image quality for a group of channels within a fixed total bandwidth.

Using Elemental Medialive AWS with Statmux, it is now possible to implement linear processing of video and AWS cloud reproduction for diffusion, cable or land distribution.
