Zixi will support the protocol for AWS Elemental Medialive and Mediaconnect

Amazon Web Services customers will be able to benefit from Zixi technology to optimize IP video networks and configure outputs to deliver live video content in real time over unmanaged networks quickly, securely and reliably.

AWS Media Connect

Zixi, specialized in the distribution of live video over the public Internet, will now provide support for the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Elemental MediaLive y AWS Elemental MediaConnect.

Zixi's delivery protocol technology is now integrated with the latest version of AWS Elemental Live. This allows customers to take advantage of Zixi's proven methods to optimize IP video networks and configure outputs to deliver live video content in real time over unmanaged networks, providing a fast, secure, and reliable contribution methodology for obtaining video content on AWS.

Zixi technology is based on the combination of bug fixes content-adaptive preview, error recovery, congestion prevention, management of multiple transmission paths and dynamic feedback to control encoder speed, all with minimal latency.

Zixi customers also have the option to configure their AWS Elemental MediaLive outputs to be sent to AWS Elemental MediaConnect. AWS Elemental MediaConnect is a high-quality transport service for live video that provides users with the reliability and security of satellite and fiber combined with the flexibility, agility, and economics of IT-based networks.

AWS Elemental MediaConnect combina el Zixi's reliable video transport, highly secure stream sharing and real-time network traffic, and video monitoring that allows users to focus on the content, not the transport infrastructure.
