Sony now offers simplified live streaming for the HXR-NX80 and PXW-Z90 camcorders
With a free firmware update it will be possible to stream quality live to video publishing websites and social networks such as Vimeo, YouTube and Facebook.
The service of simplified live streaming, a new proposal that will allow users to optimize the process of capturing live content, will be available starting today in the compact 4K HDR professional camcorder models, HXR-NX80 y PXW-Z90 of Sony.
To benefit from this proposal that allows content creators to record wherever and however they want, all you need is a simple free firmware update.
Through a Wi-Fi connection, this simplified service offers high-quality live streaming to video publishing websites and social networks such as Vimeo, YouTube and Facebook from the camcorder itself. With simple operation, it enhances fast remote delivery of content without sacrificing image quality.
Norbert Paquet, Head of Product Management at Sony Solutions Europe, comments: "The introduction of simplified live streaming for the HXR-NX80 and PXW-Z90 models optimizes the entire workflow, from capture to live distribution. Thanks to it, the camcorders will have features for online sharing, giving content creators even more tools to focus on what they do best: telling stories anytime, anywhere."
On the other hand, it should be noted that combining the mixer MCX-500 and the remote control RM-30MP Simplified live production based on multiple cameras is possible. When users need to extend their live broadcasts to multi-camcorder-based operations, the HXR-NX80 and PXW-Z90 can connect to the MCX-500 system via SDI or HDMI to facilitate live streaming to social networks with useful live capabilities such as tally, titles and transitions.
